As the final ball touches the ground, the successful conclusion of the 2024 China Open marks a gathering of many top players at Diamond Court, making it an unprecedented competition. The surprises brought by Chinese tennis in Paris continued in Beijing, as Olympic champion Zheng Qinwen advanced all the way amidst cheers from the crowd, becoming the third local player to reach the semifinals of the women's singles at China Open, following Li Na and Wang Qiang.
